We believe that the Bible is the inerrant, infallible, inspired Word of God. From Genesis to Revelation, every Word is God breathed. The Bible not only contains the Word of God, but it is the very Word of God. It is the rule of practice and faith for every believer. The holy men of old, wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit, supernaturally and verbally inspired and free from any error preserved for us today. II Tim. 3:16; II Tim. 1:21
There is only one true God Who is the Creator and Sustainer of everything that exists. He is absolutely holy, just, righteous, and worthy of our honor, worship and devotion. In the unity of the Godhead, there are three persons - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, equal in nature, executing different offices or functions harmoniously.
I Cor. 8:6; Eph. 4:6
The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Triune Godhead, co-equal with the Father and the Son. He has been active since creation. He restrains evil and convicts sinners of their sins. He is the agent in salvation and indwells, seals, protects, and guides the believer, and bears witness with our Spirit.
John 14:16-17; 26
Lucifer, the highest created angel, holy in his initial state, rebelled against God through pride and ambition, was cast out into the earth. He is the devil, Satan, the father of lies and unholy god of this world, who is manīs great tempter, the enemy of God, the accuser of the brethren, the author of all false religions and a deceiver - destined to final defeat at the hand of Christ in judgment to the eternal lake of fire. Isa. 14:12-15; Rev. 12:9
We believe in the literal, 7 day Genesis account of creation. God created everything that is in existence from nothing by the power of His Word. God created all animal and plant life. Man was created in His image and likeness. Gen. 1:1, 26-27.
Man was created perfect, but through his voluntary will he chose to disobey God and he
fell from his sinless, happy state and the whole human race became a sinner by choice.
We are under just condemnation and without excuse because of our innate sinful nature. Rom. 5:12; Gal. 3:22
Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary who was indwelt by the Holy Spirit and miraculously conceived Godīs Begotten, unique, Son of God Jesus Christ. Jesus was 100% human and 100% God at the same time! Isa. 7:14; Gal. 4:4
The offer of salvation is free to all who believe and receive the Lord Jesus Christ. It is manīs duty to accept by faith the offer of eternal, free salvation. Nothing prohibits one from receiving this offer accept for oneīs own inherent depravity and rejection of the Gospel.
John 1:12; 3:15-16; Rom. 10:13
Every believer should identify himself publicly with other believers by an external expression of inward change - that he is dead to his old sin nature and resurrected to the new nature by submitting himself to the Scriptural (total immersion in water) baptism by a local New Testament, Bible believing church as the Lord commanded us to. It is a prerequisite to membership in the church and to the privilege of communion - in which the members of the church, by the use of unleavened bread and the fruit of the vine are to commemorate together the dying love of Christ; preceded by solemn self-examination. Acts 8:36-39; 2:41-42; Matt. 28:19-20; I Cor. 11:23-28; Matt. 26; Lk. 22
The dead in Christ shall rise first; and those living will be changed in a twinkling of an eye at the last trump; Christ rose bodily, personally and visibly and shall return in like manner and will reign a thousand years. I Thess. 4:16-17; I Cor. 15:4, 42-44; 51-53
